Two-drawer lateral file features an integrated rail system accommodating both letter-size and legal-size hanging file folders. Drawers are mounted on extra heavy-duty progressive, full-extension slides with 150 lb. capacity. All drawers are five sided with a separate drawer front, making them self-contained and giving them extra strength and rigidity. Lateral file is equipped with core-interchangeable locking system. Anti-tilt mechanism does not allow more than one drawer to open at a time to prevent it from tilting. An accent trim is separated the top from the panel legs. The file is made of scratch-resistant, durable, thermal-fused laminate over industrial grade board with 100 percent recycled post-industrial material. The top and panel legs are 1-1/8" thick. The top is edged with a 3mm thick, color matched, impact-resistant material. The legs and the back panel are edged and sealed on the bottom to protect against moisture.
